Paseo P.E.A.R.L.S. is a peer-to-peer mentoring program for
young ladies grades 7 through 12. It meets once a week after school and is
sponsored by Mrs. Lawton. She can be contacted at email@example.com.
For over a decade, students at Paseo who are interested in
science and engineering have been able to design, fabricate, assemble, program,
and operate robots through the Robotics Club. Affiliated with the national
FIRST Robotics Competition, our club competes with schools from throughout the
city, state and nation. Valuable corporate sponsors such as MRI Global provide
excellent tutoring to robotics students as they engage each year's robotics
challenge. The Robotics Club's mission is to inspire young people to be science
and technology leaders, by engaging them in exciting mentor-based programs that
build science, engineering and technology skills, that inspire innovation, and
that foster well-rounded life capabilities including self-confidence,
communication, and leadership.
