Returning Students are students who previously attended Kansas City Public Schools (KCPS) and are transferring in from a non-KCPS school. KCPS is now accepting applications for returning students for the 2017-2018 school year.

Enrollment applications are available to the right for download and printing at your convenience. Applications are also available at each school.

Signature School applications MUST be submitted directly to the Signature school of choice.
Neighborhood School Applications will be accepted at individual Neighborhood Schools and at the Admissions Office at 2901 Troost, Kansas City, MO 64109, as well as by mail and fax.
For questions specific to your school of choice, please contact that school’s office.
If your student is currently enrolled in a Kansas City Public School, he/she will not need to complete the enrollment process again. However, each spring, returning students must register for the following school year and verify their residency at that time.
If at any time during the school year your address has changed, you will need to provide a new proof of residency to the school or the Admissions office.
